About the Job

The Neurosurgery ICU/Inpatient Coordinator will round and coordinate inpatient clinical care for patients on the neurosurgery service every morning M-F.  The coordinator will direct team rounds daily and will be responsible for keeping the daily census accurate to reflect the acuity of patients and needs of the service.  The Coordinator will communicate with consulting services, families and the neurosurgery attendings on a daily basis in order to develop patient plans for the day.  After being trained and being proctored, the coordinator will be able to perform neurosurgery bedside procedures including subdural drainage and ventriculostomy placement.

Qualifications

  • Current Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license Certification and current license to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
