About the Job
Contributes to the Hospital’s mission by ensuring that carpentry work required is completed on budget, within established deadlines, in compliance with applicable regulations and to quality levels that ensure the safety and an attractive environment for our staff and patients. This technical trade position will have an impact on hospital operations by addressing carpentry issues quickly and to regulatory standards. Performs carpentry work on various system wide projects as part of the In- House Construction team being a division of the Planning, Design and Construction dept.

As part of the In House Construction Team, this position:
When it is determined to utilize outside vendors/contractors, provides assistance and direction to help the project stay on schedule and within plan and required specifications.
Detects and reports improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to supervisor.
Maintains tools and equipment in an orderly and safe manner to ensure easy access and extended product life.
Performs all required documentation accurately, legibly and timely.
Assists with snow removal and other projects as requested by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Licensure, Certification & Registration: Valid driver's license
Experience: At least three (3) years of carpentry related trade work.
