About the Job

Position Summary:              

Under general supervision of the Radiology Manager, (as applicable), and under the direction of a radiologist, can perform Nuclear Medicine procedures on infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients on designated areas of the body as requested by a physician. Maintains and ensures hospital safety guidelines are followed.  Demonstrates initiative and timely follow through on all work assignments.  Assumes full responsibility for quality of own work.  Assists with Patient care as needed.  Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and the public and be capable of establishing good working relationships with both internal and external customers.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent

                                        Successful completion of an approved program in Nuclear Medicine     

                                        A minimum of five years’ experience with at least two years of progressive        

                                        responsibility preferred.



Certification/License:            American Registry of Nuclear Medicine CNMT; renewed annually or American Registry of Radiologic Technology (NM)

Massachusetts State License; renewed bi-annually

BLS certified renewed bi-annually.
