About the Job

Position Summary: Under general supervision of the Director of Physician Compensation the Senior Financial Analyst – Comp position preforms duties related to the measurement and reporting matters related to the physician and other provider's compensation programs and analytics. The position will work closely with the Director and others to create and maintain data models to measure and inform individuals regarding matters of incentive and provider compensation. Additionally, the position will support other functions of the Finance department inclusive of various reporting and analyses.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:

1. Performs data analyses and modeling related to physician and other provider compensation and productivity.

2. Assist in the development and production of routine reporting in support of the physician and incentive compensation programs.

3. Serve as the system administrator for the Provider productivity reporting, providing support and education to end users as necessary.

4. Provide training, personal and telephone support to all colleagues related to the utilization of productivity and other reports.

5. Function as support to the Compensation Committees.

6. Attend meetings as a representative of the Physician Compensation Department and Division of Finance as requested for/with the Director on matters related to the physician and incentive compensation programs.

7. Prepares analyses related to provider recruitment.

8. Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

9. Assist in the production of monthly, quarterly and annual compensation and productivity analytics as directed by the Director of Physician Compensation.

10. Assists the Department in the preparation of the annual physician compensation budget and forecast.

11. Completes special projects as assigned accurately and timely as required.

12. Maintains and protects the confidential information associated with the position duties and responsibilities.

13. Maintains and protects the confidentiality of patients.

14. In addition, this position may have ongoing or periodic duties or responsibilities in addition to those described in this position description.

15. Organizational Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent education and experience. Graduate Degree in Business or Healthcare Finance is preferred.

Licensure, Certification & Registration: None

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Excellence in use of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access). Experience with SQL preferred. Effective demonstration of verbal and written communication.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Provider Compensation & Analytics or Health Care Finance.
