About the Job

Four-time Magnet-designated Winchester Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, has an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Chief Nursing Officer of Emergency Services. Reporting to our Chief Nursing Officer, this professional licensed nurse leader provides an environment for the coordination and delivery of quality, safe clinical care that meets the highest level of professionalism consistent with a Magnet hospital.  In addition to serving our community, this role has the responsibility within our 30 bed Emergency Room and Two Urgent Care Centers to focus on the common goal of developing and promoting collaborative and collegial relationships with nursing, hospital leadership and physician colleagues at Winchester Hospital and across the Beth Israel Lahey Health System.    

In addition to a desire to mentor and coach, ideal candidates will possess the following:

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or closely related field or must obtain Master’s degree within 5 years of hire (either the Bachelors or Master’s degree must be in Nursing)  Preferred:  Master’s degree upon hire
  • At least five years of work experience as a nurse, with at least two years in nursing leadership.


Hours: 40 hours; Full-Time
