About the Job

Position Summary:               The EMT-Paramedic assists with the delivery of patient care.  Administers basic and advanced patient care in the Emergency Department setting under the EMT-Paramedic Job Performance Standards, EMT-Paramedic Competency Skills, and approved EMT Paramedic Hospital Protocols. The EMT-Paramedic must demonstrate the ability and willingness to participate in a Patient Care Team as a multi-skilled caregiver responsible for quality of own work and remain flexible in response to change.

Scheduled Hours

Per diem, hours assigned as needed.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:         1.  High School equivalent

2.  Graduate of an EMT-Paramedic Training from an Accredited  

     School by the MA Office of Emergency Medical Services.

3.  Minimum of 1 year experience, 3 years preferred as an EMT-

     Paramedic

 

Certificate/License:              Current EMT-Paramedic Certification, BLS, ACLS, PALS
