About the Job
The Sterile Processing Technician role is now eligible for a $4,000 sign on bonus. Important Details: Bonuses are paid out after 6 months ($2,000) and 12-months ($2,000). To be eligible, you must be a non-BILH employee. Employee must be in good standing to receive the bonus at the time of payment. All bonuses are subject to applicable taxes. This program is subject to change at any point.
Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the department Supervisor, determines proper method of sterilization according to established guidelines, and sterilizes all instruments and related equipment. Receives soiled case carts and processes contents in accordance with established standards. Assembles instruments according to count sheet.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Licensure, Certification, Registration: none required.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Basic computer skills, medical terminology, manual dexterity, ability to read and follow instructions, fully trained in instrumentation, sterilization and decontamination techniques. In the absence of any of these skills, demonstrates the ability to be thoroughly trained to meet organizational standards.
Experience: 1-2 years related experience.
