About the Job

Position Summary:  To assist, coordinate and maintain all administrative functions necessary to ensure that the Department runs efficiently and effectively and to provide a superior level of service to those who rely on the Department for information and assistance.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School graduate, some college preferred.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:       In the absence of any of these skills, demonstrates the ability to be thoroughly trained to meet organizational standards.

  1. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  2. Some knowledge of Epic or and EMR.
  3. Typing at a minimum of 50 wpm.
  4. Highly organized and able to multitask.
  5. A keen sense of customer service.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills both on the telephone and in person.
  7. Work independently
  8. Strong teamwork
  9. Accountability and responsibility

Experience:   Two years in an office environment with both computer and general office work preferred. Medical terminology desired.


40 Hours / Days
