About the Job
Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine – NP or PA
The NP or PA will be responsible for providing outpatient management care which will include both initial consultations and a series of follow up appointments for primarily sleep medicine patients. Also, responsible for notifying patients of the findings of their sleep studies, initiating and managing CPAP setups and monitoring patient compliance through outreach and follow-up care. Must also support our pulmonary provider at times and may also include obtaining patient vital signs as needed. Experience with Epic is helpful.
· Preference for experience with pulmonary or inpatient care
· Co-management of patients with complex pulmonary disease with physician providers including:
o interstitial lung diseases
o oxygen requiring patients
o Hospital consultation patients
· Follow up of patients with sleep disorders including
o obstructive sleep apnea, help patients with troubleshooting treatment problems and monitoring compliance and efficacy
o Provider will Receive on the job education on sleep disorders
· Full time or part time position
· Assist with managing and communicating patient results from various testing
· Interfacing with sleep lab staff and office staff
