The Advanced Practice Provider will work in a 12-bed ICU under the direction and supervision of an
Anesthesiologist/Intensivist providing critical care to Cardio-thoracic surgery patients, SICU, and occasionally MICU patients.
Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join established PA and NP team.
Qualified candidates will preferably have two years of experience with cardiothoracic surgical services or in a surgical ICU.
The selected candidate will be a knowledgeable team player with excellent communication skills, able to build collegial relationships with physicians and nursing staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team, and demonstrate a proven track record as a patient and family centered clinician.
Shift: 13 hour shifts, including nights and weekends. Full time.
Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited NP or PA training program, licensed or eligible for licensure in Massachusetts and be certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or ANCC certified. Must maintain credentialing and licensing requirements required by Lahey Hospital & Medical Center and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
