About the Job

 

We are looking for a customer focused, dynamic, leader to supervise a team of Human Resource Assistants (HRAs) within the Talent Acquisition team for Lahey Hospital and Medical Center (LHMC.) Our HRAs works closely with a team of recruiters in a fast-paced, highly effective, Talent Acquisition team. The Supervisor of Talent Acquisition is a key driver on process improvement and administrative optimization.

The successful candidate for this role will possess excellent organizational skills, work effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possess exceptional communication skills, have the ability to multi-task, problem-solve and handle a variety of complex tasks simultaneously. They must be able to think and act strategically while maintaining strong attention to detail and process. In addition, we are looking for someone who thrives on the challenge of helping build a great organization of talented individuals. Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to: 

 
  • This person will lead and build a team, help set the direction/strategy, help support the hiring demand of our business. 

  • In conjunction with The Manager of Talent Acquisition the Supervisor will have primary management responsibility of the HRA staff. This will include daily performance management, mentoring/coaching, compliance and annual performance reviews

  • The Supervisor of Talent Acqusition will be responsible for identifying potential employment candidate resources (schools, organizations, military, etc) and forging and maintaining meaningful relationships with those resources. This will include contract generation and negotiation.

  • The Supervisor of Talent Acqusition will act as the primary liaison between business/departmental leadership and the Talent Acquisition team. As such they will partner with Leadership to develop highly effective recruitment strategies for identified high volume recruitment roles within the organization. 

  • The Supervisor of Talent Acqusition will work with TA Leadership to determine the workload distribution and staffing needs within the recruitment organization and work with recruiting leadership to position the team in order to deliver on current and future needs of each department.

  • This person will analyze and evaluate recruiting operations and administration processes and workflows, defining and driving alternative work procedures to improve productivity.

  • This person will work with TA Leadership to develop new and current productivity dashboards that closely measure and monitor all critical KPI’s to insure the team is tracking in the right way to support the hiring demand from all stakeholders.

  • This Supervisor of Talent Acqusition will play a key role in developing the best talent for this team along with keeping a high bar for the team consistent with LHMC Talent Acquisition principles.

  • This person will participate in other recruiting/HR related initiatives to iterate on processes and provide the best recruiting support possible.

  • This Supervisor of Talent Acquisition may carry a requisition load and be assigned other duties as determined by the Manager of Talent Acquisition.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Education:

Bachleors degree or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum HS diploma or equivalent required.

Licensure, Certification & Registration:

None

Experience:

  • 3-5 years recruiting experience, preferably high-volume

  • 1-2 years recruitment administration/coordination experience

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, business partners and candidates.

  • Must be able to execute strategic, creative sourcing and recruitment strategies to maximize efficiency

  • Must be able to partner closely with hiring managers and potential candidate resources

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to work autonomously.

  • Experience with driving process optimization within a recruiting or similar environment

  • Proficient with Excel, Word

  • Proficient with Google G-Suite
