About the Job

Job Summary:

Under the general direction of Medical Staff Services responsible for various provider data reporting activities related to Beth Israel Lahey Health credentialing database containing sensitive provider information with appropriate compliance of Beth Israel Lahey Health confidentiality policy.  Including database management and maintenance to meet the needs of Beth Israel Lahey Health making data more usable and accessible for internal/external reporting requirements. Works in collaboration with the managers of Medical Staff Services and Provider Enrollment to create accurate and meaningful reports.  Recommends operating methods to improve processing, distribution and data flow. 

SKILLS: Proficient in data analysis and reporting. Ability to assess and interpret customer requirements into actionable reporting. Ability to organize workflow and competing priorities to assure deliverables are met on time. Ability to adhere to confidentiality requirements.  Familiarity with provider credentialing and managed care and an understanding of information systems.


EDUCATION: Associate's degree (Computer Science) or an equivalent combination of education and technical experience.

EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years related database management and reporting experience in a healthcare facility or health insurance business environment requied.

LICENSE/CERT/REG: MD-Staff database super-user certification preferred.
