About the Job
Under the supervision of the Process Manager, performs screening and diagnostic Breast Imaging studies using ionizing radiation for use in the detection and treatment of breast tumors. Monitors and maintains essential patient care and safety including practicing ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable). Flexibility to work overtime/cover at other sites as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology
Licensure, Certification, Registration: Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible. Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Department of Public Health: Radiation Control Program in the specialties in which the technologist practices. Maintains licensure on a biannual basis, maintains CEUS specific to the specialty in which the technologist practices. Certified in basic life support (BLS).
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Candidate must be proficient in the use Radiologic equipment including Digital and stereotactic equipment or in the absence of this skill must have the ability to be trained to a level of competency. Minimal computer skills required.
In the absence of any of these skills, demonstrates the ability to be thoroughly trained to meet organizational standards.
Experience: Up to 6 months experience with Clinical internship program in a hospital setting is required.
