About the Job

Under the general direction of the Director of Health & Wellness, provides colleague relations, assists with scheduling of classes and therapies, maintains the equipment/rooms, and assists with communication and marketing plan.  


Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Develops and leads a comprehensive colleague wellness program
  • Organizes, promotes, and manages health and wellness activities and programs for colleagues
  • Plans and implements classes, speakers, seminars, and assessments that promote healthy lifestyles
  • Develops promotion and publicity plans for health and wellness programs throughout the organization
  • Compiles statistical summaries of participant data, class attendance, and equipment inventories to ensure proper detailed program evaluation
  • Assists the director in the development of budget, policies and procedures relevant to the operation of the wellness program
  • Provides educational presentations and training programs
  • Performs administrative duties where responsibilities of trust and accuracy are important, and knowledge of the organization is essential
  • Initiates and prepares correspondence and telephone calls on own initiative
  • Displays a positive attitude towards work
  • Continually gains expertise on the job and is receptive to new work assignments
  • Maintains equipment and rooms
  • Assists with department events and operations
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or equivalent form 2-year college or technical school required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3 years’ experience in program development
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of health care operations preferred
  • Technically astute with strong working knowledge of standard office applications and computer operations
  • Ability to work independently
  • May require occasional weekend or evening work based on program activities


40 Hour / Day
