About the Job
The Radiology Office Coordinator provides administrative support to the Executive Director of Radiology and Laboratory Services and coordinates and assists in the operations of the departments. The Radiology Office Coordinator position requires a high degree of analytical skills, critical thinking and judgment to resolve issues in a calm and professional demeanor with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast paced environment. The position requires frequent interaction with Managers, Technologists, Radiologists, and Doctor’s Offices. The Radiology Office Coordinator requires the skills necessary to be composed and professional and to keep information confidential related to employee and patient information, complaints and grievances. The Radiology Office Coordinator works in collaboration with other departments, managers, directors, and physicians to assure accurate and timely reporting of data and reports. The position requires demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail, thoroughness, practical decision-making ability, analytical and critical thinking, excellent communication skills and a commitment to team work. The Radiology Office Coordinator has the ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment and knows when to escalate to the Director.
36 hours per week, day shift.
