Position Summary

Join a high performing and fun team of rehabilitation professionals. As an acute care physical therapist, you will be working in a fast-paced setting within various units of the hospital setting. Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment and discharge planning of patients with a variety of medical, functional and social needs. Our acute care rehabilitation team is a group of experienced clinicians that work in close collaboration with physicians, nurses, case management and other professionals to provide an excellent clinical and empathetic patient experience.


The Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Department is dedicated to providing high quality, evidence-based care and wellness education to the communities we serve. We will deliver value to our customers by providing an exceptional patient experience and demonstrating superior patient outcomes while lowering the total cost of care.

Job Specifications

  • Coverage opportunities at both Beverly Hospital and Addison Gilbert Hospital
  • Week, weekend and evening hours available with flexible scheduling options
  • All documentation is done through the EPIC Electronic Medical Record

Scheduled Hours

Minimal Schedule Requirements (Per Diem)

  • 2 Holiday Shifts/Year
  • 2 Weekend Shifts/Month
  • Additional week day hours and staff coverage flexibility preferred

Qualifications Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy Licensure
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification
  • Experience working in a collaborative multidisciplinary team setting
  • 2 years professional experience within the acute care setting (preferred)
