Cardiology NP

Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team.


In collaboration with supervising physician, the AP will assume responsibility for care of general cardiology patients:

  • Provide follow up care for general cardiology patients in office setting
  • orders lab testing, diagnostic imaging and prescriptions
  • Refers to cardiac rehab, anticoag clinic etc. other preventative services
  • Ensures follow up care is provided
  • Communicates/collaborates with Cardiologists, referring physicians and referral physicians


  • Graduate from an accredited NP or PA program
  • Experience with Cardiology patients is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with EPIC medical record systems is preferred.
  • Licensure in the state of Massachusetts
  • DEA for prescription writing.
  • Current BCLS required, ACLS certification preferred
  • The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the advanced practice role and/or clinical/nursing experience in a cardiac setting with competency in identifying basic and life-threatening arrhythmias.
