About the Job

The Pharmacy Contracting Coordinator is responsible for systems and outcomes in the following areas: 

  • Drug product contracting
  • 340B Program compliance, monthly reporting, dispensing patterns and inventory process
  • Billing processes
  • Information support systems and technology development
  • Works with pharmacy leadership team and collaborates on planning, organizing and operating the department to achieve goals, meet customer expectations and assure high quality services and products
  • Responsible for assuring the purchase, delivery, receipt, inventory levels and subsequent distribution and accounting of all pharmaceuticals
  • Performs related administrative functions and handles special products as assigned
  • Reports to the Director of Pharmacy

Scheduled Hours

40 hours per week, day shift.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:  

Associates Degree in Finance, Business or Accounting requires, Bachelors Degree preferred; financial operations and/or pharmacy operations experience in healthcare environment preferred; prior purchasing experience with emphasis in contract and inventory management; high degree of specialized knowledge in informatics and technology with an emphasis on automated pharmaceutical dispensing and information systems; high degree of knowledge and skill in software products such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
