About the 6 West Medical Surgical Neurology Unit
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated registered nurse to join our team! 6 West is a 27 bed general neurology unit. A majority of our patients suffer from a variety of neurological diagnoses including stroke, TIA, brain aneurysms, and much more. We also see a variety of other diagnoses under the care of our hospital medicine, trauma, and general surgery teams. As a nurse on 6 West, you will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to consistently deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
Scheduled Hours
24 Nights/Days rotating schedule including every other weekend and Holiday Rotation Commitment
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education
Graduate of a 2-4 year state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing
Licensure, Certification, Registration
Current license to practice professional nursing from the Massachusetts Board of Registration
BLS certification with American Heart Association
BSN Degree Required
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Demonstrates the necessary clinical skills and technical knowledge to provide care for patients according to Nursing Policy and Procedures. See Skill Record.
Demonstrates the necessary clinical skills and knowledge to provide care for patients according to the clinic specific competencies.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Experience
Acute care medical-surgical experience of 1 year preferred
