About the Job
Position Summary:
Under general supervision of a Neurologist, Physiatrist, or clinical Neurophysiologist, performs Nerve Conduction studies (NCS) to access the function of peripheral nerve pathways. The NCS procedure is performed in conjunction with electromyography (EMG), which is an invasive needle procedure.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School
Licensure, Certification, Registration: None
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Understands and utilizes the basic principles of nerve conduction studies including digital recording equipment, such that a study can be performed and presented for interpretation.
Experience: At least six months in an EMG Lab.
