About the Job
Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is seeking a Lic. Clinical Social Worker to support the Kidney Transplant Department. Strong clinical / consultation skills and ability to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, patients and caregivers is required. Responsibilities include assessment/evaluation of potential candidates, crisis intervention and counseling, group facilitation, participation in transplant selection committee, departmental quality improvement projects and program development. Transplant experience or working with end stage kidney disease is a plus.
Qualifications: Skilled in the areas of psychosocial assessment, treatment/intervention and coordination of care. Able to provide a variety of treatment modalities; including individual, couples, group and family therapy. Utilizes a theoretical base of knowledge to assess, diagnose, formulate interventions and evaluate clinical outcomes. Candidate should be able to prioritize and manage caseload within a fast paced multi-disciplinary setting.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Master’s School of Social Work.
Licensure, Certification, Registration: Currently licensed at the LICSW level by the Massachusetts Board of Licensure for Social Work. Shift: 8-4:30p, Mon-Fri.
