The Housekeeping Service Associate provides services as part of the patient care team. Primary responsibilities include daily upkeep and environmental care of the patient care areas, support areas and corridors as assigned.
20 hours per week, day shift, 6am-10am.

Daily Responsibilities include:
Entrance check - ensure no overflowing trash bins, remove any trash from floors
Emergency Dept. police clean waiting rooms, ensure no overflowing trash and linen bins
Organize and move beds - J Spine Corridorr, remove linen, shell space
Corridor clutter - Equipment not blocking fire extinguishers and emergency exits, remove wet floor signs, remove any boxes on floor
Stairwells free of storage
Tools & equipment put away, housekeeping cart storage room
Hazardous waste room - police clean BIO and CAA rooms, package waste as needed
Report urgent needs to supervisor - cleanng needs, spills etc., work orders-stained ceilling tiles, lights out, damaged equipment/walls etc.
Must be able to lift and push heavy objects. Able to work independently and responsible for quality of own work. Must remain flexible in response to change. Performs all other duties as assigned.
High School Graduate or equivalent preferred. Ability to read, write, and understand English or in process.
