About the Job
Position Summary: Oversees the medication management and coordinates the medical needs of the residents with physicians, Director of Nursing/Resident Care and family members. Observes, documents and reports significant changes in residents’ condition recommending changes in care needs. Assists in supervising Resident Care Aides ensuring care is provided as instructed.

RN/LPN – Clinical Performance
Administers medications safely and in accordance with policies and procedures.
Administers narcotics according to control substance policies.
Documents medications at the time of administration.
Assesses the resident’s physical and psychosocial status.
Demonstrates knowledge and ability to report and complete the following forms when necessary:
→Medication error report →Incident /Accident report →Nursing Notes
When an omission or error is noted, assumes responsibility for reporting and generating appropriate paperwork at the time of identification.
Demonstrates patient, reassuring approach with anxious residents and family members.
Oversees the supervision of the RCA’s.
Responds to emergency alarms promptly and take appropriate action as directed by Charge Nurse or designate.
Seeks assistance from Charge Nurse or Director as appropriate.
Performs similar and other related duties.
