About the Job

Under the leadership of the Interim Director of Talent Acquisition Operations, we are looking for several contract Talent Sourcer partners closely with the Recruiter and Hiring Leader to understand staffing needs in order to develop and implement a proactive, innovative sourcing strategy focused on critical, difficult and visible roles in a service line.  Ensures consistency of employer brand to attract and recruit diverse, top talent.  The Talent Sourcer will creatively source, assess and select qualified applicants to be referred as candidates for open searches, including networking and cultivating a talent pipeline. The Talent Sourcer will also be responsible for creating a positive customer experience for applicants.  This role will anticipate industry trends and utilize labor market information to ensure best-in-class candidate sourcing.  While the location says Burlington, we are open to remote work and/or a hybrid model of on site in one of our community based settings (Beverly, Winchester, Burlington, Gloucester, and Newburyport)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Works closely with the Recruiter to understand staffing needs and develop a proactive, innovative sourcing/recruitment strategy to attract and recruit top talent. 

  • Develops and executes a proactive, innovative, cost-effective recruitment/sourcing strategy to target a diverse pool of qualified applicants for vacancies.

  • Performs advanced sourcing, including social media, internet and data base mining, developing relationships with professional organizations, colleges and schools, and community agencies to identify and recruit a diverse slate of candidates for all positions.

  • Conducts cold calls to passive candidates to present opportunities for critical, difficult and visible positions.

  • Performs structured screening and assessment to ensure applicants meet both job and organization requirements.

  • Makes recommendation to the Recruiter and hiring manager(s) on the referral of the qualified candidates.  

  • Participates in media planning to determine media contracts. 

  • Enters and maintains, current and accurate information in the Applicant Tracking System, including but not limited to, job posting content, applicant tracking and response, anecdotal information and other required data.

  • Communicates status of searches with the Recruiter(s) on a consistent and timely basis. 

  • Maintains and reports Recruitment Metrics for assigned departments/key jobs on a regularly scheduled basis.

  • Manages responses to applicants, including but not limited to, receipt of application, application status and specific information reconciling applicant qualifications relative to job requirements. 

  • Acts as a key resource for referred candidates in identifying best fits, providing recommendations of the best way to engage in our recruitment process and following up with the referring party.

  • Develops and maintains network and database of potential candidates for future reference, including pipeline of passive candidates.

  • Maintains knowledge of current health care system employee benefits, salary structures, etc.  Provides candidate information related to culture and benefits, which promotes our health care system as the Employer of Choice.

  • Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the areas of Recruiting, Human Resources and Healthcare by reading appropriate books, journals, articles and literature and attending professional development activities, including webinars and professional association meetings.

  • Other duties, as assigned, including special projects.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor Degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, Nursing or related field.


  • 2-5 years in  Recruitment or Sales-related role.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Experience with and knowledge of sourcing effectiveness, screening, interviewing, selection and candidate assessment techniques.

  • Advanced level experience with using electronic media, social networking, internet research, candidate mining, and professional organizations to source candidates and build talent pipelines.

  • Demonstrated successful experience directly soliciting passive candidates via the phone or related inside sales experience.

  • Knowledge and application of Federal and State employment laws, regulations and legislation, is preferred.

  • Demonstrated success working independently, forging relationships, and managing multiple tasks that meet or exceed deadlines with minimal direction.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, influencing skills, listening, fact finding and problem solving.

  • Exemplary organizational skills, flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and follow through on requests.

  • Ability to analyze with qualitative and quantitative information for decision support.

  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Windows, and other Microsoft Office Software, Applicant Tracking Systems.

  • Ability to communicate feedback to job applicants that preserves applicant goodwill.

  • Must be able to manage competing demands, accept constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible and maintaining a positive work style.
