About the Job
Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Manager of Maintenance and Trades, leads Watch Engineering staff in operating, maintaining, and repairing high pressure and low pressure boilers, chillers, pumps, auxiliary equipment, water filter systems, hot water generators, fire pump and emergency electric generators in accordance with predetermined policies and procedures.
Scheduled Hours
40 hours per week, day shift.

Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical
equipment and controls. Fully proficient in all aspects required for current Massachusetts
licensure. In the absence of any of these skills, demonstrates the ability to be thoroughly
trained to meet organizational standards.
Experience: 2-3 years in 2nd class engineer power plant in healthcare institution.
Certification/License:
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Massachusetts 1st Class Engineers License or 2nd Class
Engineers License with appropriate experience.
