About the Job
Performs technician duties relating to the preparation, distribution, and storage of pharmaceuticals for neonatal, infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
Performs well-defined tasks, working with computerized and automated systems for dispensing medications, and preparing intravenous admixtures. Works under direct supervision assisting with special projects.
Assists in developing and promoting collaborative and collegial relationships with nurses, physicians, and interdepartmental personnel as relates to the pharmaceutical care of the patients.
Assists with administrative duties.
Per diem, hours assigend as needed.

Experience: 2 years of hospital or related experience preferred, including 500 hours as required for Registration; 1,000 hours experience as required for certification.
Valid driver's license and transportation required as position involve travel to off-site campuses.
Registered by the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy. License certification:
Certified Pharmacy Technician by a program recognized by the Board of Pharmacy.
