About the Job

The Addiction Treatment Services division consists of a blend of detoxification programs, transitional programs, and sober living facilities dedicated to helping men and women who struggle with addiction in all stages of the recovery process. All clients are treated with dignity, respect, and the belief that everyone has the ability to grow when they are provided support, education and direction. The Driver position is an integral part of the Addiction Treatment Services division and is a great opportunity for an independent self-starter who wants to make a difference in the community.

The Driver’s Responsibilities Are:

• Safely transports clientele from various programs for treatment and/or residential placement and related health care and entitlement services
• Determines the best routes to take based on daily assignments & works with program staff to coordinate client transport
• Maintains all logs and reporting requirements (vehicle checks, and tracking mileage)
• Assists with program delivery needs (USPS runs, pick up/delivery of lab specimens, etc.)
• Transports clients’ medications and cell phones
• Maintains general atmosphere in the vehicle and maintains behavior of passengers

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Current and valid Massachusetts driver’s license, and a proven record of safe driving

Schedule:

This is a full time, 40 hour/week, benefit-eligible position. The ancitipated schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
