Our team provides high-quality home care and hospice services by partnering with physicians, hospitals and skilled nursing facilities to provide specialized care to patients in the comfort of their own home. Our team of nurses, therapists (physical, occupational, and speech), medical social workers, and home health aides work together to devise and implement a compassionate care plan that is expressly tailored for each patient.

About the Job

A Hospice House LPN performs nursing services requiring the application of nursing skills in the care of the residential Hospice House patients.  Comprehensive  orientation in a supporative environment.

Part time,  12 hour shifts, 7:a.m. - 7:30 p.m. position, wth a 3 week rotating schedule

Minimum Qualifications:

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification & Registration:

• Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program accredited by the National League of Nursing (NLNAC) with current licensure to practice as an LPN in the state of Massachusetts .
• One to two years of Medical/Surgical Nursing experience preferred; New Grads condsidered.
• Maintains an American  Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

• Demonstrates excellent observation and problem solving/critical thinking skills.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Essential computer skills to work with EMR. Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Shows strong ability to organize and prioritize workload independently; nursing skills per competency checklist.
