About the Job
Position Summary:
Beverly Hospital, a member of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is currently seeking a
Medical Assistant for a 40 hours per week, day shift within the Pre
Admission testing department.
Day shift 730-4 or 8-430 depending on needs of department
Directly works with Advanced practitioners and RN's
Basic responsibilities:
Primarily caring for Adult patients
Rooming patients
Covid and Safety Screening
Vital signs, (height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, oximetry)
Swab collection
EKG,
Phlebotomy
Patient teaching
Chart Preparation
EPIC documentation
Assistance with patient screening
Workflow management
Follow-up calls, care coordination
Reminder calls for appointments.
Stocking
Supply ordering
Generally treat adult patients only
Contacts patients about tests results under direct supervision of NP
Scheduled Hours
40 hours per week, day shift. 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm

Qualifications
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Certified Medical Assistant preferred
Must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
CPR - BLS required
