About the Job

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide basic patient care activities in
providing for the personal needs, comfort and safety of your patients.
Position Summary:
The nursing assistant will provide basic care activities and provide personal needs, comfort and safety of your patient. The nursing Assistant assists with the delivery of patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The primary responsibility will be focus on performing technical, therapeutic, administrative tasks and procedures for which they have been trained. The Nursing Assistant must demonstrate the ability and willingness to participate in a patient care team as a multi-skilled caregiver responsible for quality of own work and remain flexible in response to change
Examples of tasks to be completed
The Administrative Associate performs a variety of computer, clerical, and supply functions necessary for the operation of the nursing unit. Responsibilities include handling and controlling written and verbal communications between nursing unit, personnel and numerous physicians, ancillary services, patients, visitors and families, and the organization of the patient medical record.
Scheduled Hours
32 hours per week, day shift. Every other weekend & holiday required.

Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Certification/License: Certification preferred but not required upon hire
Previous medical secretary or medical records experience preferred. Medical terminology preferred. Computer experience required. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
