About the Job

Position Summary:








































TheEvening Lab Control Supervisor provides leadership as part of the management team, assumes the responsibility of the daily operations of Lab Control, including:

  • Counseling of staff
  • Evaluation of employees in department
  • Assists the Manager with regularly schedule staff meetings
  • Assists the Manager in creating and maintaining an accurate work schedule
  • Assists in the application of education programs, training and competency assessment
  • Maintains inventory control of supplies
  • Maintains competency to perform all Lab Associate functions
  • Acts as a liaison between Lab Control and other departments
  • Assists Patient Accounts in the resolution of billing problems
  • As assigned, responsible for working weekends, holidays and for covering other than primary shift

Scheduled Hours

40 hours per week, evening shift.

Associates Degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an accredited institution and two years of related laboratory training and experience OR

Have previously qualified or could have qualified as a Technologist under 42 CFR 493.1423 of the Federal Regulation published March 14, 1990 [55FR 9538] on or before February 28, 1992
