About the Job

This posting is for a position in the Microbiology Laboratory located at Winchester Hospital’s Core Laboratory in Woburn, MA. Parking will be onsite, and there is little to no travel between satellite locations. With all of our upbeat and highly skilled  members of our team, along with state of the art laboratory instrumentation, we provide laboratory services for three institutions within the Lahey system; as well as a vast network of outpatient physician offices. The duties of the job primarily include but not limited to: Specimen processing/Planting, Gram Stains, and Rapid Serology testing. It is preferred that the candidate is flexible with their schedule, has a sense of urgency and time management skills, has a general understanding of Biology/Microbiology, proficient with microscopy, general understanding of Windows OS and other Windows based software,  Word processing, checks work email, and has familiarity of troubleshooting clinical laboratory hardware/software, and other equipment.
