About the Job

The LHMC Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine seeks an experienced highly motivated and committed nurse practitioner or physician assistant for a position dedicated to our outpatient pulmonary hypertension population. Candidates should have enthusiasm for pulmonary medicine and physiology, with a focus on pulmonary hypertension. The ideal candidate should be eager and energized to learn about this disease process and work with this patient population. The Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic at the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is a multidisciplinary referral center that provides comprehensive care to patients with all forms of pulmonary hypertension. Pulmonary hypertension patients are managed by an expert team that comprises pulmonary and critical care physicians, interventional cardiologists, advanced practitioners and pharmacists. The advanced practitioner provides patient education, direct assessment, evaluation and care to outpatients/inpatients with pulmonary hypertension and plays an integral role in the pulmonary hypertension clinic. The AP works closely with patients and specialty pharmacies and guides the application and approval process of pulmonary hypertension medication as well.


Applicants should be highly motivated, confident, patient centric and team oriented providers who have a strong interest in Pulmonary hypertension. Organized, dedicated practitioners who are flexible, have excellent time management and prioritization skills are ideal candidates. Consideration to motivated and enthusiastic new graduates interested in pulmonary hypertension will be given.
