About the Job

Position Summary:                Provides comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Director/Manager of the Department. May assume special responsibilities in preparing projects as designated.  Able to set own priorities and deadlines and assumes full responsibility for the quality of own work in order to meet work expectations.  Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced ever-changing environment is essential.

Scheduled Hours

20 hours per week, temporary position.  This position is located at Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers.

Qualifications

 

Education/Experience:         Must be a high school graduate with a minimum of 5 years comprehensive secretarial training or experience at the Executive Secretary or Administrative Assistant level, preferably in a hospital setting, as well as typing/computer skills.  Knowledge of MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint, and spreadsheet applications. Requires outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to deal with multiple staff and management. Excellent organizational skills required and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
