About the Job

Under the mission to provide all patients a voice while delivering community hospital compassion with high-quality personalized care, as a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Obstetrics Postpartum Team, you will be responsible for the following:

 

  • Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observes patient’s progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient
  • Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes

     

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or obtain BSN within 5 years of hire
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Work experience in unit specific specialty preferred

 

Shift

Per diem, as needed.

 

*Per diems are required to schedule a minimum of (4) – 8 hour shifts or (3) – 12 hour shifts in a four week time schedule to include (2) – 8 hour weekend or (1) 12 hour weekend shift. Per diems working 12 hour shifts are required to meet the same annual commitment of 208 weekend hours in a calendar year as the per diem working 8 hour shifts.  Also per diems are expected to schedule two major holidays each year. One will be from the summer holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day) and one from the winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s).

**Per diems in Obstetrics Postpartum are required to work at least one night shift in a 6 week schedule.
