About the Job

The Individual and Flexible Support Services program is part of the Children's Behavioral Health Services division. The program offers In Home Family Therapy, Individual Youth Support, 1:1 mentoring, Youth Support Groups, and activity based social skills groups for youth up to 22yrs determined eligible by Department of Mental Health.  This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking for an administrative position where they can also get hands on experience working with youth & families. The Administrative Coordinator is an intergral part of the leadership team and will need to be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and tech saavy.

The Administrative Coordinator's Resposibilities Are:

  • Supervises staff and ensures that the office administrative functions assigned are effectively carried out.
  • Orientates new employees to program and helps them get set up with appropriate access.
  • Advises staff on personnel policies, payroll, travel expense, check request, purchasing, record keeping, training, etc.
  • Monitors physical site need in relation to maintenance, information technology and supplies.
  • Performs project research and report preparation for program through database and statistical reports.
  • Prepares correspondence, reports, forms, work orders, and specialized documents.
  • Supports the implementation of changes to enhance the admission process and overall client experience.
  • Tracks and maintains insurance authorizations, coordinating with staff to resolve eligibility issues when neccessary.
  • Engages in direct care responsibilities, including mentioring clients and co-leading group activities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with Excel, Word, and electronic health records preferred.
