About the Job


As part of the Wound Healing Center team, this position is responsible for the following:

  • Performs hyperbaric treatments and associated tests as indicated by the patient care plan, following established protocols for hyperbaric treatment regimens.
  • Collaborates in development of patients’ plan of care as it pertains to hyperbaric chamber options and evaluates the effects of those plans. 
  • Oversees hyperbaric chamber services and safety/regulatory issues associated with running a hyperbaric care program, including leading performance improvement for the program and outreaching in the community to encourage referrals 
  • Facilitates the day-to-day maintenance of the hyperbaric chamber and related support systems
  • Provides feedback and solutions on improving quality, safety and patient satisfaction of hyperbaric therapies 
  • Cross-trains to assist in direct patient care with wound clinic visits


Position Requirements:

Education:             LPN, EMT, Paramedic or Candidate with at least at least six (6) months experience performing hyperbaric therapies. 

                                    Preferred:  CHT or DMT certification (Certified Hyperbaric Technician OR Diver Medic Technician)

Experience:           Required:  Knowledge of basic safety, infection control and quality performance standards.   Hyperbaric Training will be provided if needed.

Preferred:  At least 3 years clinical experience, preferably with hyperbaric therapies





Part  time, 32 hours.
