Responsibilities

  • Direct patient care and interactions during office visits
  • Scheduling new patients
  • Close interaction with physician, providers, and nursing teams to schedule for new referrals and diagnostic imaging and oral drug authorization
  • Assist with training of new unlicensed clinical staff for Cancer Services team
  • Reports to Nurse Manager of Cancer Services
  • Occasional cross campus assignment Addison Gilbert Oncology Clinic (Gloucester)

  • 32 hours per week, 4 days’ work week!
  • Day Shift 8:30-4:00pm, no weekends
  • Benefits eligible

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • BLS License required within 90 days of hire
  • Multi-skilled Associate Training: EKG, Phlebotomy, Simple Respiratory & Rehabilitative functions
  • Ambulatory experience is preferred
  • Experience with prior authorizations a plus
  • Background in medical terminology is preferred
