About the Job

Our In Home Therapy program is a strength based, trauma informed, team that is dedicated to providing family driven & youth guided treatment.  

Therapeutic Training and Support (TT&S) works in collaboration with a masters level clinician to provide services to youth and families in their home, school, and/or in the community.  As a team of two you will support families in skill building, conflict resolution, and to help families meet their goals.  The program offers ongoing training such as a trauma informed care model “Risking Connections”, supportive supervision and a positive team environment. The ideal candidate is a team player that is organized, compassionate, and motivated to help youth and families meet their goals and improve their lives.

The TT&S's Responsibilities:

  • Provides structured one-to-one, strength-based support services to eligible youth for the purpose of addressing daily living, social and communication needs.

 

  • Completes timely and accurate documentation to reflect services provided.

 

  • Carries a caseload as assigned by both the In-Home Therapy and Therapeutic Mentoring Programs.

 

  • Collaborate with other providers and natural supports of families served. 

 

  • Meets productivity standard for hours worked.

 

  • Provide transportation to youth and/or family as needed.

 

  • Builds and adjusts schedules as necessary to meet the needs of persons served. Afternoon/evening hours are required. Staff must be willing to schedule and hold appointments on weekends based upon the needs of the families served.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor - level counselors/paraprofessionals must have a bachelor’s degree in a human services field from an accredited academic institution and one (1) year of relevant experience working with families or youth. If the bachelor’s degree is not in a human services field, additional life or work experience may be considered in place of the human services degree.

 

  • Associate-level counselors/paraprofessionals must have an associate’s degree in a human services field from an accredited academic institution and one (1) year of relevant experience working with families or youth. If the associate’s degree is not in a human services field, additional life or work experience may be considered in place of the human services degree

 

  • High School Diploma-level counselors/paraprofessionals must have at least two (2) years of relevant experience working with families or youth

 

  • Must be 21+ years old.

 

  • Valid Driver's License w/ reliable transportation and willingness to transport youth in own vehicle.

 

Schedule:

Full time, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri (afternoon/evening availability  required)
