About the Job

The Department of Anesthesia and Interventional Pain Management has immediate full time openings for 5 qualified CRNAs to join its highly regarded Department of Anesthesia and Interventional Pain Management.   The department is comprised of 25 (full and part time) CRNAs and 44 (full and part time) Anesthesiologists.  These positions are Monday through Friday, 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts with no call or weekends. The department covered approximately 24,000 cases last year (no OB or Pediatrics). The department initiated its first fully accredited resident anesthesia training program on July 1st, 2017. 


Graduate of accredited program for nurse anesthesia with a Massachusetts RN license and Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification from Mass Board of Nursing.  Current certification as CRNA or if a new graduate must have a Massachusetts Board of Nursing issued certificate as Graduate Nurse Anesthetist.  A new graduate must pass the examination by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists and obtain Massachusetts CRNA certification.  ACLS certification is required.
