About the Job

Responsible for providing direct clinical services to children, adolescents, and/or adults with identified mental health or substance use needs. This service is designed to meet the specific mental health needs of the identified person or family as they relate to their clinical diagnosis and can be provided in-home, clinic-based, in-school or other approved/appropriate community setting.

The Housing Coordinator's Responsibilities are:

  1. Assesses the needs of the members and the Community as well as make various recommendations to the Program Director.
  1. Assures that the facility and activities of the program are operated according to sound safety practices and assures full compliance with regulations and stipulations established by various funding and licensing boards.
  1. Assesses potential clients/residents in collaboration with Program Director and intake team.
  1. Lead groups focused on recovery, symptom management, skill development and other curricula
  1. Evaluate referrals, coordinate scheduling with referral sources, conduct intakes and assessments
  1. Develop and implement treatment plans and meet regularly with students to evaluate learning goals and progress toward graduation.
  1. Develops mutually empowering and collegial relationships with members.
  1. Monitor student attendance and outreach to absent students
  1. Process required documentation (billing, client notes, treatment plans, timesheets, etc.) in a timely manner
  1. Act as a liaison to inpatient facilities, case managers, psychiatrists, families and other supports to maintain communication and coordination for staff and students
  1. Provide crisis intervention services and collaborate with Emergency Services during program business hours
  1. Key liaison with building and/or property management for all resident related matters
  1. Other duties as assigned


  • Masters in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field strongly preferred. 
  • Experience working with individuals recovering from mental health, substance abuse and/or trauma preferred.

Scheduled Hours

20 hours per week, and it's flexible but spread over 3 days between Monday and Friday, between the hours of 8:30 and 4:30.
