Winchester Hospital is currently seeking a Patient Safety Associate for our Float Pool Team, who is committed to exceeding patient expectations.  Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will be instrumental in providing comfort and safety to a patient.  Join a hospital that provides its patients with state-of-the art technology and wide spectrum of advanced surgical specialties while delivering small-town compassion with high-quality personalized care. Job Responsibilities may include:

  • Watches over patients that have been designated as a risk-to-self.  

  • Effectively communicates with all members of the patient care team throughout the shift

and completes a thorough and comprehensive handoff with the other Patient Safety

Associates and RNs.

  • Engages patients and family members in conversation and provides basic emotional

support.

  • Keeps the room clean and tidy to improve the patient’s and family member’s experience

 

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 

  • For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital team.

Shift

Per Diem, as needed by department.
