About the Job
Increased Rates across Imaging Services for all positions.
Contributes to the Hospital’s mission by assisting radiologists with interventional procedures, requiring sterile technique, to produce specialized imaging. This dual role staff technologist position will have an impact on quality, safety and the patient experience in both the capacity of assisting with special procedures and performing radiologic exams.
Required: Completed accredited Radiology Technology Program
Preferred: Associates Degree in a Radiology Technology
Required: At least one year’s experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Required: For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital team
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS
Required: Must be American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registered. Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license or registry eligible. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration must be obtained within 12 months of hire
LIFE SUPPORT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Basic Life Support
POPULATION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: Neonates, Infants, Children, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics.
