About the Job
Contributes to the Hospital’s mission to care, heal and to excel in service to our community by restocking medication, to patient care units. This clinical staff position will have an impact on improving safety and quality of our patients by keeping the Pyxis medication stations updated to ensure proper and timely medication distribution.
Required: High school diploma or G.E.D
Preferred: At least one year as a certified pharmacy technician
Basic computer skills
For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital team
Preferred: Experience with Pyxis automated medication system
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS
Required: Pharmacy Technician National Certification and Pharmacy Technician
Part Time, 30 hours a week.
