To assist Director of Radiology in the day to day operations of the MRI Departments at Beverly Hospital, Beverly Hospital at Danvers and Prospect Street. Assist with administrative tasks relating to personnel, fiscal responsibilities and quality assurance. Maintains and ensures hospital safety guidelines are followed. Demonstrates initiative and timely follow through on all work assignments. Assumes full responsibility for quality of own work . Assists with patient care as needed. The primary function and responsibility of the Chief Technologist is the day-to-day- MRI operations and communications of all NHS MRI facilities. The Chief Technologist will oversee the Lead Technologists at each site and the technical staff. This position will ensure the safe and accurate operations of all MRI scanners, with quality patient care being the ultimate goal.
32 hours per week, Monday-Thursday, 16 hours at Beverly Hospital and 16 hours at Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers, MA

Must be a graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Must possess a valid Massachusetts Department of Public Health Radiation Control Program License and be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. A minimum of seven years MRI experience with a five years of progressive supervisory responsibility preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
