About the Job

Contributes to the Hospital’s mission by receiving, stocking, issuing and distributing hospital supplies and materials. This staff position will have an impact on the hospital’s operations by ensuring departments have the supplies they need when they need them and on the hospital’s financial status by closely monitoring supply inventories and expirations to minimize waste.     ** This is a per diem position **

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent

 

Experience:

Materials management or experience with clinical products

 

Other Skills/Knowledge:

Required:  Good organizational skills

Preferred:  Knowledge of Meditech Materials Management Module and other computer applications
 

- For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital team
 

Schedule requirements:  Generally, Monday – Friday.  Based on business needs.

Travel requirements:   

Storeroom:  This position will travel between the storeroom and all hospital locations, including off-sites.

Central Materials Management (CMS):  Generally located in CMS locations.
