About the Job
Under the leasdership of the Executive Team Coordinator and Lead Ophthalmic Coordinator, schedule surgeries, arrange pre-operative testing, meet patients and discuss surgical requirements. Discuss procedures and answer pertinent questions. Interact with surgical chedulers, Am-surg personnel and primary care physicians assuring conformance to departmental and Lahey Clinic standards. Independently monitor ophthalmic operations at practice sites outside Lahey North. Assist in training new hires in all aspects of clinical operations. Provide ophthalmic practice assistant duties. Greet patients, arrive encounters, prepare charts, assist patients, physicians and technicians. Register patients, schedule appointments. Provide miscellaneous duties assuring efficient ophthalmic practices and standards.
