Lahey Hospital & Medical Center Perioperative Training Program (Operating Room) (RN)

 

If you have always wanted to be an Operating Room Nurse, but have not been able to find a position due to lack of OR experience, we have the solution. Lahey Health Systems is offering a nine month AORN Perioperative Training Program–we will train you to become an Operating Room Nurse if you are willing to commit to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center!

 

Our Operating Room is a Level 1 Trauma Center with 22 OR’s. Lahey has multiple surgical specialties including Liver and Kidney Transplants. Our staff consists of Nurses, Surg Techs and  Operating Room Assistants who utilize cutting edge technology every day.

We are currently searching for 6 Nurses that are willing to make a 3 year commitment to Lahey Hospital & Medical Systems please apply.

   Shifts available:

  • The hours for the first 6-9 months are 6:30am to 3:00pm. You will be assigned a shift after the first 6-9 months
  • 40 Hours,  4 Ten Hour Shifts
  • Weekend, weekday and holiday  call/work rotation required
  • Interviews will take place on Tuesday  8/6, Wednesday 8/7 and Thursday 8/8
  • Start Date for this Periop Training Program is 9/30th/2019

 

Qualifications

BSN required

Must have a current license to practice professional nursing in MA

Must have a current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
