About the Job
The Noninvasive Cardiac Testing department is an integral part of the Cardiovascular Service Line at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. The department offers state-of-the-art diagnostic testing for heart and vascular conditions such as arrhythmias, heart failure, coronary artery disease, carotid artery disease, congestive heart failure, hypertension, and more. Offered testing includes Electrocardiogram (EKG), Stress Testing, Echocardiography, Ambulatory Cardiac Monitoring, and Remote/Clinic Cardiac Device (pacemaker/ICD) Interrogation. Each area is supervised by cardiovascular experts and staffed by highly skilled exercise physiologists, sonographers and technicians. This busy department conducts more than 54,000 tests per year. The Noninvasive Cardiac Testing department and its colleagues pride themselves on meeting the clinical needs of patients and delivering outstanding quality care.
Under supervision, operates equipment to measure and record heart action by monitoring and graphically tracing electrical activity occurring during the heat beat.
Education: Requires high school diploma

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: In the absence of any of these skills, demonstrates the ability to be thoroughly trained to meet organizational standards.
Experience: Previous work experience in a health care setting desired.
