About the Job

Provides direction and coordination for all student volunteers, High school as well as college.  Recruits, schedules, trains and supervises students.  Acts as a liaison with the area schools and youth programs regarding community service.  Acts as a liaison with Human Resources and Staff Development regarding health care career development.  Supervises the Weekend Coordinators. 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  1. Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Sciences, Education, Administration, Communications or related field required. 
  2. Administrative or supervisory experience in a health care facility or community agency.
  3. Requires good interpersonal skills to work with people of diverse backgrounds, skills and abilities, as well as teenagers.
  4. Requires written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Requires knowledge of State and Federal laws regarding youth.
  6. Computer skills with ability to learn Meditech and Volunteer Works.

Shift

Monday-Friday 12PM-7PM
